App and website scope

This notice covers the Soft Geography Android app and the static introduction and privacy pages. Using the app does not create a visit record on this website. Visiting the website is a separate browser action.

Intended audience

Soft Geography is written for adults and older teens who choose a low-stakes reflection for ordinary moments. It is not designed as a child-directed service, patient portal, clinical assessment, symptom tracker, or workplace monitoring tool.

Reflection, professional care, and crisis support

The app is not counseling, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, crisis screening, or an official Healing Space Counseling Center program. It cannot assess safety or replace qualified care. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and call 911 for a life-threatening emergency. The app itself does not place calls or send messages.

Press, drag, release, and temporary choices

You can select a built-in pigment basin, pause its visual state, reshape a native boundary, move among built-in images, and reveal a built-in next-step phrase. The app offers no free-text field, questionnaire, symptom score, camera, audio recorder, or clinician chat.

Volatile state and persistent storage

The active basin, image, boundary position, press state, and next-step phrase are held in volatile interface memory. The release does not save a journal, mood, health detail, canvas history, score, phrase, streak, or plan to persistent app storage.

Journal, health, and sensitive details not requested

There is nowhere to enter a name, email, phone number, address, exact location, diagnosis, symptom, medication, therapy note, crisis narrative, contact, photo, recording, credential, or other private story. The product does not ask the user to disclose why they selected a basin.

Device permissions

The released app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, phone, calendar, notifications, nearby devices, files, photo library, health data, or accessibility-service permission. Ordinary system controls belong to Android and the device environment.

App network behavior

The Android manifest does not request internet access. The app has no sync, upload, remote content, account, messaging, advertising, billing, or cloud feature. The separate website requires a network connection only when visited through a browser after publication.

Accounts and identity

There is no registration, login, profile, password, social sign-in, membership check, client record, appointment identity, or persistent user ID. The app does not recognize a user across visits or devices.

Analytics and diagnostics

The app includes no analytics SDK, advertising measurement, session replay, attribution service, behavior profile, remote experiment, or network crash reporter. Android and the device maker may maintain separate system diagnostics under their own policies.

Advertising, purchases, and billing

Soft Geography has no advertisements, sponsorship placements, donation flow, store, subscription, paywall, in-app purchase, or billing SDK. It does not collect payment details.

Sharing, sale, and disclosure

Because the app does not collect or persist user content, it has no app-held journal or health narrative to sell, rent, publish, transfer, or disclose. There is no export or share control. App stores, browsers, device platforms, and future website hosts act under their own terms.

Temporary-state lifetime

The active canvas state exists only in memory for the current visit. Clear restores the first tide; leaving or the operating system ending the process removes the volatile state. No history database means there is no retained journal period.

Reset, exit, and uninstall

Use Clear to remove the visible canvas state immediately. Ending the app process removes it as well. Uninstalling removes the app. These controls do not affect information independently held by an app store or device platform.

Shared-device visibility

Someone looking at the screen during an active visit may see the selected monotype, built-in reflection, and built-in phrase. They cannot open a saved history because none exists. Clear the plate before handing over the device if desired.

Children and supported use

The experience is written for adults and older teens, not directed to young children. A parent, guardian, or other trusted adult may choose to sit with a younger person. The app does not request age, school, guardian identity, or child account information.

Website hosting, external destinations, and security limits

The static site contains no form, account, ad tag, analytics script, or embedded social feed. A future host may process IP address, request time, browser details, and requested path as ordinary delivery metadata. External destinations have their own practices. No device or transmission can be promised absolute security.

Policy changes and publisher contact

If the released app's behavior or the public website changes, this notice should change before the new behavior is represented as current. The local edition has no verified public effective date or authorized publisher contact and does not invent one. The publisher must add both before public release.
